Making the film....
"Alivestock" was filmed over six days in the San Luis Valley on the New Mexico-Colorado border in the dead of winter. The cast and crew were housed on the historic T-Bone Ranch and filming was done on El Rancho del Corazón, a working ranch owned by la familia Márquez. The short was self-funded, with everyone involved taking on more roles than credited.
